Before photography and packing, we keep our pieces in a climate-controlled environment. Individual containers give each piece its own space and help reduce mis-shaping. We keep the research alongside the object, so its condition and the history we can support stay connected.
For hats, the sequence is photography, a protective bag and a shipping box. The illustrations show those stages without standing in for the condition photographs of a specific item. Clothing receives protective packaging suited to the garment.
